The Arts Centre

The Arts Centre had a requirement to build its profile in the youth market. Director, Bronny, whilst working there created the yourth arts program Vibe. This was a program designed specifically for the 18-35 year age group and consisted of an email newsletter (before they were common place), a website, and youth specific programming which included bringing festivals to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival to the newly created youth venue Black Box. Bronny won an Arts Victoria leadership award for her work as well as being awarded a Churchill Fellowship to research ‘programming and marketing to the youth audience in the international arts community’. The marketing techniques she implemented have become common practice today.
